This homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte is a cozy, creamy drink that blends rich espresso or coffee with a spiced pumpkin mixture, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Perfect for fall or whenever you crave a warm, comforting beverage!

- 1 cup of brewed espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup of milk (whole, almond, oat, or your preferred type)
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Optional: a pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt (if using). Stir over medium heat until well combined and heated through (about 2-3 minutes). Remove from heat.
- Brew your espresso or strong coffee according to your machines instructions, aiming for about 1 cup.
- In a clean saucepan, pour in the milk and heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until hot but not boiling (about 5 minutes). Froth the milk if desired.
- In a large mug, add the pumpkin mixture, then pour the hot brewed espresso or coffee over it and stir well to combine.
- Slowly pour the hot milk into the mug, spooning the foam on top if frothed. Add the vanilla extract and stir gently.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with extra pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy!
