- 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling!)
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, almond milk preferred)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey, agave, or your favorite sweetener)
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional toppings: whipped cream, graham cracker crumbs, a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
- Ice cubes (if needed)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients. Measure everything out before you start blending.
- Prepare the banana. Slice your frozen banana.
- Add ingredients to the blender. Combine pumpkin puree, frozen banana slices, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in your blender. Add liquids first.
- Blend until smooth. Start blending on low and gradually increase to high. Blend until completely smooth and creamy (30-60 seconds). Scrape down the sides if needed.
- Check the consistency. If too thick, add more milk (1 tablespoon at a time). If too thin, add ice cubes and blend again.
- Taste and adjust. Adjust sweetness or spice level to your preference.
- Pour into a glass. Carefully pour your pumpkin pie smoothie into a glass.
- Add toppings (optional). Top with whipped cream, graham cracker crumbs, pumpkin pie spice, or other toppings.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy your smoothie right away!
